What is Dalgona coffee? Dalgona coffee is essentially whipped coffee, made from equal parts of sugar, water and instant coffee. It has been the trend of 2020, with everyone having to be stuck in quarantine at home. This coffee is super easy, and by pairing it with our cold brew coffee concentrates, it reduces the sweetness of the Dalgona coffee while balancing the coffee aroma.

We highly recommend using an electric whisk or mixer for this recipe as the Dalgona cream requires a lot of whisking (unless you’re ready to spend 1 hour whisking it by hand). It takes around 10-15minutes on the high setting of a electric whisk for the mixture to form stiff peaks.

Also, if you’re thinking of reducing the amount of sugar, don’t. Sugar is the essential ingredient in whisking up and giving the dalgona coffee it’s signature stiff peaks. We tried reducing sugar before and ended up not being able to whisk it to the desired consistency.



For Dalgona Cream

  • 15ml Hot water

  • 15g White Sugar

  • 15g Instant coffee


  • 150ml Milk of your choice

  • Ice


  1. Mix the ingredients for Dalgona Cream and dissolve the sugar and instant coffee in hot water. Using a hand mixer or an electric whisk, whisk the Dalgona cream until stiff peaks form.

  2. Build ingredients in a fancy cup — Ice > Milk > Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate > Dalgona Cream.
